INDIAN CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF MINNESOTA (ICAM)
Rochester Hindi School registration is open for the school year 2023-2024 for children ages 5-17 years. Through the Hindi school, we hope to provide an opportunity for students in Rochester and adjoining communities to gain basic communication skills to connect with their extended family, get closer to India and to promote the Hindi language at the grass root level. Indian culture, its rituals, and traditions are deeply tied with Hindi and by promoting Hindi the Indian ‘essence’ will live on in the younger generation.

Please join us for the open house where we will share additional details about the Hindi school program, curriculum, and operations. This will also be a great opportunity for you and your children to meet the teachers and staff. You are welcome to register your children during the open house.
P.S.: ICAM members receive a 25% discount on registration fees.
The Rochester Hindi School staff and students marked the successful completion of the academic year 2022-2023 at their Graduation party and annual picnic on June 10th at Chester woods park. Parents reflected on their experiences and applauded the tireless work of the team of all volunteers- staff throughout the year. ICAM president, Ajay Singh and Education director, Sarika Pandey awarded the certificates and medals to the students. Ajay Felicitated teachers and recognized them for their service to educate school aged students in the Hindi Language that is serving as a tool for them to bond with family, friends and connect with their roots.

This year, each student has made progress with improvement in their Hindi vocabulary, they learned Hindi poems, information about Indian Festivals and the story behind it, celebrated Republic Day in January and concluded the year with annual picnic. The students, staff and parents have developed special friendships and camaraderie and are looking forward to growing this Hindi School family.
