Diwali Cultural Program and Music Show 2025

Join us on the Night of Culture, Celebration, and Community Spirit

Experience the magic of the Diwali Festival of Lights Cultural Event -

On Saturday, November 8th, 4pm

at the Byron High School

Support incredible talents of our local community through music, dance, and more. We also plan to have live performances from professional singers to make this memorable night.

Fazel Haris and Gorinka are the lead singers of Indus Music, a professional band featuring some of the finest musicians in their fields. Known for their versatility and wide vocal range, they deliver performances that span soulful ghazals, Bollywood favorites, and lively regional hits.

Fazel Haris, trained in Carnatic, Hindustani, and Western vocals, has performed extensively across India, the U.S., and Canada. He has composed original songs and television jingles and remains an active contributor to cultural and charitable music initiatives, captivating audiences with his expressive voice and dynamic stage presence.

Gorinka, with Bollywood and Telugu movie songs to her credit, was trained in Hindustani classical music and honed her ghazal singing under the legendary Late Pandit Vithal Rao, recently releasing an album composed by him. A celebrated performer in Minneapolis and now in California, she is admired for her emotive expression, technical finesse, and mastery of Indian and Western styles. Together, they create a captivating musical experience that bridges genres, languages, and cultures.
